1. Policy Scope & Purpose

This policy applies to all activities undertaken by Tech Disposal Limited in the UK, including IT collection, refurbishment, recycling, data destruction, administration, transportation, and procurement. It outlines our commitment to responsible environmental management and continual improvement .

2. Leadership & Responsibility

• Our Managing Director holds overall accountability for environmental compliance and performance.
• All employees, contractors, and third-party associates are responsible for implementing this policy within their roles.
• Annual environmental reviews will track compliance and progress.

3. Compliance & Good Practice

• We will comply with all applicable legislation and regulations, including:
  • Environmental Protection Act 1990 (pollution & waste) 
  • Environment Act 2021 (waste, resource efficiency, biodiversity) 
  • WEEE Directive & Duty of Care requirements
• We will benchmark our practices against ISO 14001:2015 standards and adopt industry best-practice across data security and recycling operations

• Divert ≥ 95% of collected electronics from landfill

• Monitor electricity usage; increase efficiency year-on-year
